DT lessons are practical and engaging which allow pupils to be creative and design products suitable for the modern world. These lessons will develop resilient learners, who can adapt and refine when faced with challenges, enabling them to be effective problem solvers.
Teaching will develop pupils’ knowledge to; be creative thinkers and problem solvers who are resilient when faced with a challenge, design products that are relevant for modern society, create products through exploring and experiencing, be adaptable and develop and refine both skills and techniques, and continually evaluate products to carry out modifications.
