Information for parents
Topic: Oh Hull! How you’ve grown! – A history based topic looking at the development of Hull between the 1940s and present day.
Maths: Percentages, measurement, four operations
Reading: Fluency, retrieval, inference and word meaning.
Writing: newspaper reports and narrative story writing.
Topic Ideas:
- Research an important landmark of Hull
- Design and create a model of a famous landmark of hull.
- Research a famous Hull person.
- Write a biography of a famous Hull person.
- Investigate how Sutton Park has changed over the past 50 years.
